In a nutshell, I design experiences that advocate for people, planet, and progress. I studied Art & Design and Environmental Studies in college, and I've worked as a designer here and there.
I graduated summa cum laude with Honors and a minor in Environmental Studies. I was named the Art & Design Outstanding Senior for the College of Liberal Arts, as well as a 2020 Outstanding Senior in the Honors Program.
I’m currently working with Cisco's Cloud Networking UX Team to help design digital products that enable people, businesses, and governments around the world to connect with one another.
I’ve worked part-time for nearly ten years as a freelancer, with clients ranging from musicians to nonprofits and small businesses. I’ve been contracted as a designer at Five Acres Agency since June 2020.
I designed print and digital campaigns and collateral, including mailers, posters, presentation templates, and social media graphics. I also took photos and videos at events and maintained the Orientation website.
I wrote for, edited and designed Honors publications, including our two-time national award-winning newsletter. I also designed print and digital collateral, worked with branding, and photographed Honors events.
I oversaw our officer board, hosted meetings and talks, and worked with our team to plan events, workshops, and studio tours. I also served on AIGA Central Coast’s board as their Student Liaison during my role.
I was one of five members of the first-place team that designed Loop, an app that helps users form climate-friendly habits. I was responsible for research and copywriting, and also helped design the user interface.
I volunteered two years training a group of leaders for Cal Poly’s Orientation program on a variety of topics, from inclusivity and group dynamics to fostering academic success. I also led new student groups with a partner two additional years. I was named Facilitator of the Year 2017.
